8 Funniest College Movies Of All Time

It's no doubt that there are hundreds of movies that perfectly explain college life in a nutshell. Here are eight of the hands-down funniest college movies of all time that not only make your stomach hurt from laughing so much, but are also incredibly relatable to your college life.

1. "Animal House"

The holy grail of all college movies. The film hits almost every depiction of what a fraternity is like, from the parties to the excessive amount of drinking, and it's safe to say that a few of us have had or been to some of the crazy parties as depicted in the movie. The film is also jam packed with scenes that'll make you laugh until you cry. A definite must-watch for any collegiate.

2. "Old School"

Another equally as funny film that depicts the many things that remind us of the good old days in college (for those of you who have been out of the college scene for a few years). This film just makes you want to let loose or makes you reminisce about how you and your suitemates used to see how many shots you could take before someone surrendered.

3. "House Bunny"

Anna Farris teaches us that it's OK to be different and to embrace our inner flaws and imperfections, and at the same time she gives us some comedic relief as she tries to fit into the social norms of being a sorority girl.

4. "Legally Blonde"

The hallowed halls of Harvard Law don't exactly scream Delta Nu, but that doesn't stop Elle Woods from going after what she wants. I wouldn't recommend following a boy to an Ivy League school (or any school at all for that matter), but Elle Woods always has a smile on her face, and always knows when to put a good bend and snap to use.

5. "Van Wilder"

While I wouldn't recommend staying an extra seven years in college just to sleep with women, drink, and party, "Van Wilder" does give a whole new meaning to the word college. If only we could all stay in college forever and waste our parents' money away, worry free.

6. "Accepted"

This movie shows you what it's like to work as a team and create your own college. Easy enough, right? From Jonah Hill in a hot dog costume to being a S.H.I.T. sandwich, this film is definitely one of the underrated favorites, but it promises to deliver a good laugh all throughout the movie. A definite must-see film for sure.

7. "Pitch Perfect"

Not only does this film perfectly describe one of the many awkward encounters students face on their first days of college, but it also depicts becoming a Barden Bella. Becoming a Bella is the epitome of anyone's college career, however, getting there will take some serious training and a lot of horizontal running.

8."21 & Over"

This movie is your accurate depiction of any college night at any university. Though Astin and Teller take it to a whole other level of partying and drinking, we've all been there with the excessive drinking and nights where we just all partied way too hard. However, those were some of the most memorable nights throughout your college experience and you would never take it back for anything else.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
