Fun Tech Toys For The Fall 2016 Semester

Today's technology is so fun to me. Now there are so many different devices and tech gear to help people and keep them entertained for hours.

So, here are some cool tech toys could be helpful for the Fall semester, and that I hope you all will find as cool and interesting as I did.

1. Fitbit Charge HR

Those of you who know me know that I am obsessed with my Fitbit. It's my life. What I really love about it, is just how aware it has made me been of my fitness and how much I am actually doing in a day. If you don't have one yet I seriously suggest looking into getting one. They will change your life.

Price: $120 up depending on where you purchase yours.

2. Chromecast

I'm sure most people have heard of Chromecast, but I just think it's still one of the coolest things ever.

Price: $30

3. Livescribe Pen

When I heard about this pen I nearly lost my mind. It will record lectures, copy what you're writing to your device, and you can even send and share your notes.

Price: $100 and up

4. Bose Wireless Headphones

We all know that Bose is a pricy brand, but it's also one of the best. I always think that owning a quality pair of headphones, especially when you're needing to study, can really come in handy. Maybe one day I will convince myself to purchase a pair of Bose, but for now I'll just keep dreaming.

Price: Depends on the type of headphones

5. Notability App

Notability is a cool app that lets you record your professors words to text, organize and share notes, and more. It's a really great way to help you get take the notes you need for when it comes time for studying.

Price: $7.99 on iTunes

6. My Little Steamer

Okay, don't laugh. I know this isn't SUPER high tech, but it's probably one of the best "tech" things I own. The name basically says it all. It's a little steamer that you can literally take anywhere. It's so perfect when you're in a hurry or don't have a lot of space to put an ironing board. You might judge now, but you'll thank me later.

Price: $19.99

7. Ruggie

I thought this was awesome. Mostly, because I know that there is no way I would be able to sleep in if bought this. It's an alarm clock that makes you step on it in order for the alarm to stop ringing, and will even reward you with motivation to get out of bed. Ruggie is on Kickstarter, but I'm pretty sure will be making it's way around the houses of America very soon.

Price: The retail price is $99

Creating your schedule for the upcoming semester can be an exciting process. You have the control to decide if you want to have class two-days a week or five-days a week. You get to check things off of your requirement checklist. It's an opportunity for a fresh start with new classes (which you tell yourself you'll never skip.) This process, which always starts out so optimistic, can get frustrating really quickly. Here are 25 thoughts you have when registering for classes.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

In the 12 years since it went off the air, "Friends" continues to be adored by millions. The show that gave generations unrealistic expectations about love (or should I say lobsters?) and New York City apartments had a charming cast of characters that everyone could relate to at some point or another. Here are 17 times Ross, Monica, Joey, Chandler, Phoebe and Rachel accurately described life.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
