Even though most of Tallahassee revolves around College Town, there are several activities to take part in outside of that area. All you have to do is search for them and decide what will be fun for you and your significant other.

These are some of the ones I found.

Tallahassee Rock Gym

Enjoy a day of rock climbing with ropes or bouldering without them. You have to be belay-certified to climb with ropes, but there is a belay class to take before climbing. Bouldering can be done without certification. There aren't many different tracks to try to climb and it turns into a fun day.

Tallahassee Museum

The Tallahassee Museum has wildlife exhibits, nature trails, and native gardens to experience. Some of it overlooks Lake Bradford and the FSU Reservation.

FSU Student Life Cinema

Watch recently released movies for free as FSU students or for $6 as non-FSU students. An unknown treasure to most people, but it's a great time.

Fun Station

As the name implies, Fun Station is all about fun. Enjoy a night of arcade games, bumper cars, putt putt, and more.

FSU Rez

For FSU students, the Rez is free with an FSUID and for non-FSU students, the cost is $3. There are many activities to enjoy, including swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and beach volleyball. All activities are free for FSU students but there are some costs for non-FSU students.

First Friday at Railroad Square

On the first Friday of every month, the shops in railroad square park stay open late. There is live music, food trucks, and creative demonstrations. A night of fun!

The Indoor Shooting Range

If you enjoy shooting guns, the Indoor Shooting Range is a place to try out.

Tomahawks 51 Axe Throwing

Who wouldn’t want to go and throw axes for fun? You have a brief introductory training period and then an hour to play games with axes.

American Escape Room

Work with your significant other to solve clues and puzzles in order to escape a room in 60 minutes. This is a good way to see how well you work together.

Tom Brown Park/Cascades Park

Tom Brown is great for hiking and even has a dog park to take your best furry friend. Cascades is a nice location for a picnic next to a beautiful lake. There are often events that take place at both locations.

Leon Country Library

If you like reading, the library may be an interesting place to go. The library can be a magical place. You pick a book for your significant other and they pick one for you. You read them and compare books.

Mission San Luis

Mission San Luis is a National Historic Landmark that offers a variety of workshops, ranging from candle making to pottery writing to historic cooking. Prices vary for different activities, but Mission San Luis provides the opportunity to learn about 17th century Spanish and Native American crafts and lifestyles.

Tallahassee Flea Market

Flea markets are always a good time. You get to walk around and look at different knick-knacks, deciding if you want to buy something or just look around and enjoy the day.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
