Are you tired of classic Christmas movies? Here is a list of movies that will still get you in the holiday spirit, but are different from the typical Christmas titles.
1) Dear Santa
One of my all time favorite Lifetime movies, Dear Santa follows Crystal as she matures from a wealthy, party girl into a loving, maternal figure after finding a letter from a little girl asking Santa to bring her a mother.
2) Holiday in Handcuffs
Holiday in Handcuffs follows Trudie as she kidnaps a date for her family's Christmas gathering. After running late for an important job interview, getting dumped out of the blue, and having a horrible hair day, kidnapping the handsome, charming David (played by Mario Lopez) seemed to be the only logical option!
3) A Christmas Kiss
Wendy happens to share a passionate kiss in an elevator with a stranger. This mystery man turns out to be Wendy's wealthy boss' boyfriend, Adam. When her boss leaves on a trip to see her mother, Wendy and Adam team up to continue the interior design project that Wendy and her boss were working on. This leads to Adam having to choose who he really loves.
4) The Twelve Dates of Christmas
This movie captures Kate, the main character, reliving Christmas Eve and a blind date over and over until she is able to find love.
5) Love at the Christmas Table
Another Lifetime classic, Love at the Christmas Table takes you through the years, following the friendship/budding relationship of two friends. The issue is figuring out whether the relationship can be sustained when Christmas ends.
