With the month of October coming to a close I thought I would share some of the best parts of the season. There are endless possibilities with how to spend the month, especially because it's still bearable weather for being outside. If you missed doing some of these fun activities you can still participate in some of them during early November, or there's always next year!

1. Apple picking

2. Making Apple Pie

3. Pumpkin patch activities and picking

4. Carving pumpkins

5. Visiting a farm (in Austin, Texas)

6. Watching LOTS of movies + Fear Fest movies

7. Celebrating lots of October Birthdays

8. ...and my Hedgehog’s adoption day!

9. Picking out a costume

10. Going to a HUGE corn maze

11. Fun Fall drinks

12. Seeing Rocky Horror Picture Show (for the millionth time)

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
