Doing something while doing nothing.

We all have those lazy days where we stay inside and lay around to prepare ourselves for the upcoming week. There's really no correct way to have your lazy day, but here are some great pointers.

1. Wear comfortable clothes

Whether you never change out of your pajamas or if you put on a fuzzy robe, make sure you have on the comfiest clothes in the house.

2. Color

Coloring a picture is one of the most calming activities that you can do. After you color in your happy puppy, you can be proud of it and show all your friends. Win-win.

3. Read a book

Please, finish the book that has been laying half read on your night stand for the past three months.

4. Paint your nails

You know you have been putting it off all week because it takes forever and you don't like waiting for them to dry. Now's your chance.

5. Check your email

Clean out your inbox, delete the spam, and open the important ones. It'll make you feel like you have accomplished something productive.

6. Do laundry

Lord knows that nobody wants to wash their clothes, even though it's a pretty simple task. Wash them, you'll thank yourself later when you have clean underwear.

7. Eat junk food

If nobody sees you eat it, the calories don't count.

8. Watch sappy love movies

You know, the kind that you don't like watching with anyone else because of your ugly cry? Well grab a box of tissues because two Nicholas Sparks movies have come out since your movie binge.

9. Shave your legs

They need it. Maybe even put on lotion afterwards if you're feeling really motivated.

10. Facial

Nobody actually has time for regular facials throughout the week, so exfoliate your skin and feel how soft it is the rest of the day.

11. Bubble bath

This is one of the most important staples to a perfect lazy day. Light some candles and turn up the tunes because bubble baths will always leave you relaxed and happy.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
