There's A Full Moon In Scorpio, Beware

What you desire, desires you.

With the full moon in Scorpio just a few days ago, we feel the residual effects.

What are the effects you ask?

Feels like someone laser beaming you to your very core and you are left with nothing else other than raw emotions. Like holding your heart in the palm of your hands, wondering how you got to where you are right now.

The feeling is overwhelming and beautiful at the same time, but you don’t know why.

The full moon in Scorpio was on April 29th, so many of you might have felt the need to tell someone how you really feel. What’s been on your mind lately? What triggers you? Is it a song? A mention of someone’s name? That street you pass every day on your way to work that holds a familiar sense of nostalgia?

It can be any of them. Or more.

The moon revealed secrets that we weren’t supposed to know until that very moment in time. Leaving us feeling exposed, vulnerable, but strong enough to pick up where we left off.

It is known that the word Scorpio seems like the most frightening sign of the zodiac, but it couldn’t be further from the truth.

We were called this weekend to unveil our true source of unhappiness and be content with what it is. That doesn’t mean we should stay in that rut, once you recognize what that source is, move on from it. Each full moon and new moon cycle wants us to constantly improve each moment we are in as to not stay stuck.

Every choice and decision we make will certainly affect our future, but it’s a lovely feeling knowing you are in charge of that decision and no one else is.

With the moon in a water sign, known for being highly intuitive, brought out the truths we needed to hear and see. How a person really acts, what they truly think, who have you been trusting. Just like the moon cycles, we phase out and bring in the new. For we cannot hold onto what no longer serves us, as the full moon in Scorpio came to a close, keep shedding what you no longer need.

Just like a Scorpio, we cannot hide from the darkness that we normally would avoid. Everything you have been asking for and about are being revealed right now.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. 11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
