As an event meant to "highlight African American music and artistic culture" the Black Student Union's Afro Funk Fest certainly proved successful. The Florida State University bound event featured wonderful presentations of music, poetry, and my favorite, fashion. While praising African American culture, this event was also able to bring together students from FSU, Florida A & M University, and Tallahassee Community College. The entire crowd embodying creativity and style. This is one of the many events that the BSU at FSU will be having this month to celebrate African American history.
