The Emotional States Of Winter As Told By Disney's 'Frozen'

The cold does in fact bother me very much.

With the weather getting colder and people trading out their sandals for fuzzy Uggs (well actually, I hope people don't wear Uggs seriously anymore), winter is coming quicker than I'd like to admit. Unfortunately for people who, like myself, moved away from the cold intentionally, there are many emotions that one experiences with the onset of winter. What better way to express these feelings than with scenes from "Frozen," one of the few movies that actually gets me excited for this chilly season.

At first you're really excited for winter because it means Christmas is just around the corner. Oh and also winter break means no school!

And you count down the minutes for the first snow because that means a possible snow day!

And then the first snowflakes fall, and you're so excited because you haven't seen snow in over six months! And at this point, you don't even remember that this snow could last a really long time.

Playing in the snow is so entertaining and fun, at least for the first hour or so.

Eventually, you play in the snow for such a long time that you end up looking like Kristoff, and then you're not really sure how you feel about the whole situation.

Weeks pass and the winter isn't too bad. But one day you go outside and every inch of your body becomes cold within seconds.

It's so cold you can't even feel your legs.

Even when you go inside, you can't seem to get warm no matter how many hot chocolates you drink or how many warm baths you take.

You actually begin to forget what true warmth feels like.

And you realize that all the white, beautiful snow in the world isn't worth the cold you feel throughout your body.

You 100 percent disagree with Elsa because in fact, the cold bothers you very, very much.

And you mentally prepare for summer because that's going to be the only thing that gets you through this long, cold winter.

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general.
