Frozen Ever After review
On June 21st Frozen Ever After opened it’s door’s to a huge opening day crowd. Questions the ride had to endure were is it going to be the best Disney ride? Or is this better than Maelstrom the ride it replaced in October 2014? World Showcase wasn’t supposed to open until 11 and by 8:45 am there was a line just to get into world showcase. The ride opened at 9 and a 300-minute wait time was posted. Soon it was a Fastpass only ride in an attempt to cut down on the wait times. Well after many attempts to go on I finally got the chance to ride Frozen.
On Thursday July 6th I went to Norway around noon to get on the ride the wait time said 60 minutes so I quickly jumped online. The first thing I noticed was a completely different entrance. Where the old exit was for Maelstrom is now the loading and unloading area. While walking in line you pass the Wandering Oaken’s trading post. And you are then led to the ride. The logs from the Maelstrom have stayed which is nice. In the first seen you pass Olaf and Sven as you pass them you hear they sing Do you wanna build a snowman. And off we go climbing up to Elsa’s Ice Castle. Once we enter we see the Royal Queen herself and since it’s Frozen we all hear that song Let It Go. It’s followed by you traveling backwards as the song is playing to the area where you go from going backwards to forwards as we see Marshmallow and the Snowgies from Frozen fever lead you down to the end of the ride where we see Anna, Elsa and Olaf singing In Summer the ride ends where you got on.
Despite many hardcore Disney fans not liking how Norway has been taken over by Frozen I have to say the ride is nice give it a shot. If you’re a Frozen fanatic without question get on the ride! Wait times will still be crazy long so I recommend getting a Fastpass for the ride. If you can’t get one try to ride first thing in the morning or later in the evening. This ride is leading the way to future of rides at Walt Disney World. Do you any opinions on Frozen Ever After? If so leave them in the comment section I’d be happy to read them.
