If you're anything like me, you've more than likely always felt some sort of force burning within you; one that represents an utmost strength and unique personal nature. At times, this irreplicable feeling is probably nothing more than only the faintest energy confined inside, and at others, it can also have the power to set you mind and soul ablaze all at once. You are the keeper of a rare and everlasting flame.
Owning this internal gift, just like anything else, can simultaneously be a blessing and a curse. It brings light to all corners of life and the many things that it has to offer. Therefore, it inspires a seemingly insatiable curiosity, and an overbearing thirst for knowledge and personal growth. Status Quo is almost never acceptable, and life gets frustratingly boring on an all too frequent basis. If I take time to sit around, I can guarantee stir craziness on almost every occasion. The flame instills passion and immense energy, but it is often difficult to focus on one thing at a time. You might often find yourself overwhelmed by life's many possibilities, wanting to take everything in all at once. Sure, your conscious mind knows that this is simply impossible, but the energy of the intense fire burning within you tries to convince it otherwise.
It never stops scorching your soul with the desire to find answers and to seek adventure almost everyday. Often, your mind lies awake, even when your body wants to sleep. It longs for you to acknowledge it, making it's presence known at even the worst of times. Not even the strongest of fire-fighting forces could cause it to burn out.
Nevertheless, view this force within as a special gift. It is not granted to all, and it brings great light to those who possess it. Maybe it makes it hard to settle, but when you find what you want or what you need, the burning within your soul will make sense. Your energies will focus, and your fire will suddenly appear as a light at the end of a long tunnel. Your passion will be clear, and it will be unprecedented.
Never allow anyone, not even yourself, to put out your fire.
