Im sorry your life did not turn out the way you had hoped, but I am not here to take over the life you wanted. I am here living my own life. No you two couldn't make it, but just as he now has a chance to find someone he wants to be with, so do you. Now is the time you can go and find your happiness, because you deserve it. In the meantime no I'm not trying to fill your shoes, I have my own to lace up, and wear around.

Breathe easy, knowing I do not want to compete with you. To be honest, neither one of us could compete with each other. I do not try to push you out of the picture, although I'm sure you feel that way, just as some days I feel like you try to push me out. Insecurities can overpower you if you let them, and its okay to own up to them. We don't have to live off of our fears of each other, we can find a new way to coexist.

I adore the children. They are funny, beautiful and intelligent children. I know I had no part in the making of their DNA, but I love them just the same. I love how much they love their Mom, it does tell me a lot about a woman I haven't gotten to know. It speaks to a softer side than I have saw personally. I know all about your routines before bed, and that nobody can do it like you, so we created our own. Again not to overstep, but just to comfort them while they are away from you.

I apologize if you think that I overstep my bounds or I am to involved. However, I will not apologize for being involved and being there with the best intentions. I will not apologize for falling in love with the love of my life and his children. I will not apologize for being here and caring about them.

I am happy, and I do believe you deserve your happiness to. Although you cannot get your happiness looking back to the past, and what could've been. When you look back, while driving forward, that's when you hit something, and cause an accident. That's when insurance rates go sky high, you get a ticket, and have to figure out how to pay for it all. Just like when we start fighting to the point we cant fix it, and wind up in court, and dealing with lawyers and judges.

We know whats best for our family, no one else. I would love to come together, instead of trying to work apart. Together we can do so much better than what we are doing apart at this moment. You may think I have lost my mind for this, but I hope you realize I'm just trying to make everyone's life easier. Let's talk more, and argue less.
