To the guy who saw me as just another dude,

I have always had troubles making friends during school and was not a big fan of girl drama. This is when I realized guys are way easier to talk too and be around. I have had many friends all throughout my life that are girls and boys, but in the end, I would rather hang with the bro’s then the ladies.

See, guys are just so simple they don’t take the time to judge you on things like your hair, makeup and or even your clothing choice. They just wanted to have a good time and enjoy their time with their friends. I was in middle school when my best friend was a dude and we may or may not have done the whole dating thing here and there, but it was not real. We didn’t know what dating was really so in the end we just where best friends with the dating tittle. We always did everything together and he never once judged me for what I was wearing. This is when I realized boys are way easier to be friends with than girls.

Later on in high school is when being friends with the guys was not acceptable because everyone thought you were either together or just sleeping together. Which that was not the case at all, because sometimes hanging out with the guys was ten times better than the girls. In high school, you would go with the boys to have a good time and be looks for trouble. We used to drive around and do the thing that our mamas would not approve of but in the end it was the best days of my life. Sometimes we would just hang out by the fire and have a few cold ones. See, guys didn’t have stupid drama and they never talked bad about anyone behind their back like girls do. It was just all fun and games when it came to being with the guys.

Finally, when the guys treat you like just another dude of the group is the best feeling ever because then it makes things less weird and more enjoyable. I just want to thank all the guys in my life that accepted me as just another guy of the group. You made high school so much more enjoyable due to having guy friends. Due to having guy friends during my high school days made college way easier as well because this is when it is acceptable to be friends with guys and girls. This is when you can be friends with whoever and do whatever.

Thank you guys for being my best friends and dealing with my craziness, all my sass and just making me an equal. I never had a guy treat me any different than his other friend just because I was a girl and I thank you for that. In the end guy friends are always the best because they will always be there for you and never treat you any different.

Thank you, guy Best Friends.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
