To My College Friends That Will Be There For Me Forever

Good friends are hard to come by these days. I got really lucky in college. I found some of my best friends in the entire world. They bring out the adventurous side in me and I have done so many fun things. I would have never thought possible.

When I'm with my friends I feel like myself. They make me forget about everything bad in my life. College friends are there for you in the long haul and I truly think that mine will be there for me my whole life. The world is just getting bigger with all of the people who are in it.

This year I've had many walks with my friends to weird places in the middle of the night. 12am walks are the best because there is no one out and you can embrace everything. I have also gotten lost multiple times because my friends and I are direction-ally impaired. It is very fun to get lost because you never know what you are going to find when you do find your way around. Over spring break I got lost many times in Boston. We took so many wrong turns and trains it was really fun to explore the city together.

My friends inspire me to think out of the box and try new things every day. I have done more than I could ever imagine in my first year of school. My first year has been the best ever. Meeting new people is a passion of mine I can't wait to see what this year brings. My friends and I have lost people along the way but we have stuck together like glue and made it work. This will be the best year ever. My friends are like coming up for a breathe of fresh air that I never knew I had.

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
