"Friends" is more than just a TV Show and Here is why

I recently watching the iconic and beloved show "Friends." and finished the show in about a month. Yes, I did watch 10 seasons in a month with my crazy schedule. I am never one to finish a TV show that quick unless I really love it. And this case obviously I LOVED the show! Not only is "Friends" a great show, but it never did I think it would have so many life lessons.

Here is what valuable life lesson each character taught us:

Phoebe Buffay and her don't care attitude:

We all love Phoebe and her personality. Her carefree attitude is something that we should all make a part of our lives. Remember that episode where Rachel and Phoebe went jogging and Phoebe runs as crazy as she can. Why? Because it makes her happy. Through the seasons, many people doubt, but she proves them wrong and keeps going with her life because who cares what other people have to say about you.

Ross and Rachel portray the ups and downs of life:

All the characters in the show have at least gone through some difficult time in their life. Let's take Ross and Rachel's on and off relationship. If I counted correctly, Ross and Rachel broke up and got back together 31 times. Now, this might seem like a bad relationship, but it's a perfect example of how life's a wild ride. You have great days, and you have bad days. It's all a part of life just like how it's Ross's part of life to say "WE WERE ON A BREAK!"

Monica and her can-do attitude:

Monica is always focused on her whatever she wants either its a career or a relationship or in also her case, cleaning. Being a cook is hard and especially getting a job as Head Chef in New York City is difficult, but Monica made it work. She taught us that no matter how difficult life gets, you should always be motivated to keep going and achieve your goals.

Chandler taught us that being there for your friends is essential:

Chandler might not be the best at giving advice, but as you watch the show, you will notice how he is always for all of this friends. He is still there to lift up the room with a hilarious comment or a joke. Chandler Bing taught us how you should always be there for the ones you love even through the darkest of days.

Joey taught us to stay yourself and have fun even though life does not go right:

Even with numerous failed auditions, Joey still kept this head high and kept trying for his big break. Hello "Dr. Ramoray from Days of Our Lives." Joey is just a big kid at heart who at the end of the day just wanted to have a good time. Life is hard 100%, but that does not mean you have to be upset and sad. Have a little fun and say "How you doin?" to something that makes you smile.

They all taught us to surround yourself with people you love:

Ross, Monica, Rachel, Joey and Phoebe all told us through 10 crazy seasons that no matter what happens never let go of people who care about you. Through breakups and drama, the gang started as one and ended as one.

"Friends" might seem like a silly show with characters that have a dramatic life which might be right but I assure you the show is worth a watch and get a laugh.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
