To my best friend that has been with me for some of the biggest milestones in my life so far, thank you everything that you are.

I may not have known you from birth but that is just a minor part in my life you missed in comparison to what you have been through with me. Through the good and the bad you have stuck with me thorugh it all. That includes the awful make up and clothing choices you have suffered through and loved me regardless. Thank you for being honest with me even when I don`t want to hear it. I know you do it because you care and in the end I realize that it was probably what was best. You, as my best friend, can see the bigger picture when I am sometimes too close to have a good outlook on things. You're my voice of reason and the person that can bring out the fun side in me.

Through the endless late night phone calls to the weirdest snapchat conversations I know that there are very few things that we have not talked about. Our bucket list is long and growing everyday and our adventures are not something that I would trade for the world.

Thanks for being the Monica to my Rachel, the Erin to my Kelly and the Tina Fey to my Amy Poehler.

We can dance around like no one is watching having all the fun in the world. We don`t need to drag each other around sometimes just food and a good show to binge watch on Netflix is okay with us too.

No matter how far apart we are in distance, we talk just like we see each other every day. Thank you for being happy with who I am because it gives me the confidence I need to believe in myself. Thank you for being you and never getting to cool for me over the years. We have helped each other growing up throughout the years stumbling through it day by day. Thank you for learning life with me and staying around though it all. And most of all, thank you for being my person.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.
