You made it. After a grueling five days of staring at your computer screen, spinning in circles on your chair for sheer entertainment and counting down each and every minute before you and your co-workers take lunch, you've made it. Thank you sweet baby Jesus. Close that laptop, push in your chair (ha, or don't) and peace the heck out of the office -- it's Friday. Please enjoy my depiction of Fridays at the office according to the greatest television series ever created.

You roll up to work in an above average mood than usual! It is Friday: the day of the week where dreams come true. You make fake small talk with your less than pleasant co-workers and pretend you don't despise them.

The feeling only lasts so long and before your very eyes, mounds of work are plopped on you desk! You are massively distressed by what your work day will consist of.

You get back to your desk after a long lunch filled with mindless chatter regarding weekend plans and how badly you want to go home. Yes, we get it, we all want to start our weekends! You open back up whatever you were working on before lunch, but you know you'll be useless post-lunch.

You get an animated email about some super fun company function occurring this weekend. BBQ and corn hole with people I see 40+ hours a week?! How about no.

You see the office suck-up knock on your boss's door to wish them a wonderful weekend! Ugh, gag.

But, you don't care because it's finally 5 p.m. and you're half way out the door before anyone can say "See you Monday!"

Congrats on another week down, friends! Spend your two days off wisely because Monday will come around before you know it. Oh, and always remember the light at the end of the tunnel (Friday, I am referring to Friday).

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

For many undergraduates across the nation, the home stretch has begun. Only one more semester remains in our undergraduate career. Oh, the places we will go! For the majority of college seniors, this is simultaneously the best and worst year out of the past four and here’s why.

1. The classes you are taking are actually difficult.

A schedule full of easy pottery throwing and film courses is merely a myth on the average campus. With all of those prerequisites for the upper-level courses and the never-ending battle you fight each year during registration for limited class seats, senior year brings with it the ability to register for the final courses you need to fulfill your major. Yet, these are not the easy entry level courses. These are the comprehensive, end of major, capstone courses designed to apply the knowledge from all your previous courses, usually in the form of an extensive research paper or engaged learning project. The upside is you actually probably really enjoy these classes but alas there is no room for slackers here.
