Remember Your High School Jitters? Well, They're Nothing Compared To College

Have you ever been so nervous about starting high school? If so, what parts were you nervous about? Making friends? The school work? According to the writers from Cliff Notes, it is totally normal for you to feel this way.

To help you cope, Cliff Notes has suggested a couple of key pointers to help guide you on your journey.

Starting freshman year can be quite confusing so whenever it is time to start school try to attend the orientation. This orientation can help you find out what classes you have and you can meet your teachers. With the orientation, you can have a better understanding of how the school runs and be more comfortable with finding your classes.

Also, when you get up in the mornings before school, try to have a great breakfast. When you have a good start to your day, your brain can kick into gear and help you perform your tasks better. When you are able to perform your tasks better, it helps with your schoolwork and focuses on your lessons. This will impress your teachers especially when you are on time and ability to do your assignments.

Now you may just be starting high school that is about a five-minute drive from your house but imagine going to college out of state and across the country. A scary thought isn't it? Well, these tips can also help you transition into a dorm for the first time and adjust to being away from home. Keep these tips in the back of your mind especially as you make your trek and start a new chapter in your life.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated.
