Well, it’s almost that time of the year. Summer. Your freshman year of college is coming to an end. It’s actually pretty hard to believe that it’s almost over already. Throughout the eight months that you have been in college, you’ve experienced things you may or may not have expected to. I’m betting your first year of college was a roller-coaster of emotions, some happy and some that made you want to curl up in a ball on your bed and cry, but it’s all part of the college experience, isn’t it?
Although "The Nanny" is a show from the '90s, it’s a classic, and Fran Fine, Mr. Sheffield and the rest of the cast of "The Nanny" may be able to perfectly represent the emotions of freshman year.
1. Having to wake up for an early class.
2. Trying to make new friends.
3. When the fire alarm goes off for the third time this month.
4. Going to the gym to avoid the freshman 15.
5. Getting an A on something you thought you failed.
6. Failing something you thought you got an A on.
7. Getting ready to go out to a party.
8. Gossiping with your roommate.
9. Trying something new at the dining hall.
10. Going home and being able to shower without flip-flops on.
11. Coming back from winter break and begging your parents not to make you stay.
12. When the dining hall actually has something good.
13. When you have nothing due one week...
14. ...and everything is due the next.
15. When your roommate leaves for the weekend.
16. When your friends want to go out but you have work to do.
17. When you overhear your neighbors talking about what they did last night.
18. Trying to pick your classes for next semester, but they’re all full.
19. When you're almost done but then realize you still have finals to take.
20. When you realize how fast the year went by.
21. Then realizing you still have three years left.
