Your freshman year is easily going to be the most fun year you have in college. You have very few responsibilities and obligations, and people typically forgive you for making stupid mistakes. For all of you incoming freshman, here are 14 instances that you will encounter during freshman year, as described in pug gifs.

Quickly realizing that a 9:00 a.m. class was a terrible mistake.

When your long-distance boyfriend breaks up with you.

Trying dining hall food for the first time.

Being confused at your first pool party when you realize you are the only one swimming.

Finally getting your Bid Card and running to your new sisters.

Taking your "party-animal" themed social a little too seriously.

When a girl in a different sorority says that she's in the "top house."

The first time going out with your Big as official Big/Little.

Overly stressing about your grades when you fail your first quiz.

Having themed photo shoots with your new sisters.

When your Big gets upset with you for stupid decisions you made the previous weekend.

Trying to do something "outdoorsy and fun" with your pledge class.

Getting ready to have your own Little next year.

And finally, drowning during your first finals (hell) week.

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.
