Looking back on my freshman year, I have compiled the key experiences that act as rites of passage for Villanova freshmen.
Going to the courts during orientation weekend
Walking to Campco in the pitch-dark, freezing cold
Seeing everyone you've ever met at Campco at 2 am on a Friday or Saturday
Living in a shoebox-sized room on South Campus
Going to games at the Finn/Pavilion
Feeling sick while standing in a hallway waiting for a pledge ride at 2 am- or if you're a guy, giving pledge rides until 2 am
Going to tailgates at the Wells Fargo Center and paying for the insanely expensive Uber rides home
Being overwhelmed by the involvement fair and not signing up for anything
Fangirling the first time you see a basketball player on campus
ACS-approved events, if you know you know
Being forced by your OC to go to the awkward luau/catchella
Being afraid of ~the exchange~ and the herd of frat boys that gather there
Following barstoolnova as soon as you commit
Taking the SEPTA into Philly and running up the Rocky steps
Hearing "walk sign is on" in your nightmares
