A Letter To My Freshman Roommate

Dear Roomie,

Picking out a roommate is very difficult, and stressful. I strongly believe that is why we didn't pick each other at first. Moving in together in the middle of a semester was kind of crazy, but well worth it. No, we didn't start out making memories and having inside jokes, but now we have plenty.

From day one to day 47, we have shared numerous laughs that are hard to fake. Between Walmart trips, Waffle House dates and going to Scarowinds, we have definitely had our share of fun in this first semester.

I don't know how I went 18 years without my best friend. Thank you for being the best roommate ever.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area.
