1. Alarmy

Let's start the day! Alarmy is an alarm clock app to wake you up for that dreadful 8 am. Not only does it set off an alarm sound of your choice, but in order to turn it off, it requires you to either solve a math problem, shake your phone 50 times, OR register a place or object which you have to take a picture of. These are meant to wake you up more than just hitting snooze.

2. Quizlet 

Are we surprised?! Downloading Quizlet on my phone gave me no excuse not to study wherever I am.

3. Uber/ Lyft 

You likely won't have a car on campus at some point in your college career. Get exactly where you need to be with these free to download apps.

4. Amazon

Do you ever think of something you need in the dead middle of a lecture? Same. Just pull out your phone and add it to your Amazon cart and it will be at your door in 2 days.

5. Venmo/Paypal

I try not to carry a lot of cash on me or keep it in my room for safety reasons. These apps let you transfer money quickly and efficiently to friends, businesses and more.

6. Spotify/Pandora/Apple Music

Download music for all those long walks to class and library sessions.

7. Flo

This app is the most modern system to keep track of your menstrual cycle.

8. DoorDash/UberEats

If you have a car or not, you will definitely be craving your favorite restaurant in your college town but too lazy to go get it! DoorDash and other food delivery services will be at your door in less than an hour.

9. Tasty

Those Facebook videos that you're addicted to watching? They now have an app that you can search through thousands of recipes and videos for your next meal. Take apartment living to a whole new level.

10. Mint: Personal Finance 

In college, it is so easy to swipe your debit card multiple times a day. Mint tracks your spending and lets you set specific budgets for categories such as Fast Food, Clothes, Coffee and more.

11. Starbucks

I've yet to meet a college girl without a Starbucks addiction. Pay in store or order online for your fav drink. Rack up points to earn a free drink reward!
