As frats were shut down most of last semester, some of us may have grown accustomed to the bar scene, but now that frats are back and better than ever we are reminded as to why a night at a frat is always significantly better than a night a bar.

1. MONEY

Frats provide free alcohol and there is no cover fee! Leave a frat at the end of the night with all your money or leave a bar at the end of the night at least 30 bucks poorer.

2. Better music

Because kids have control of the aux the music is far better! Who wants to risk ruining the night with some sucky tunes.

3. Age doesn’t matter

Freshman can come as they please without stressing about fakes. So once again you are saving money and attending parties with the correct age group.

4. Elevated surfaces

Everyone knows college girls like elevated surfaces. It makes everything far more fun, and slightly dangerous.

5. You can’t tailgate in bars

A good tailgate needs the fresh outdoors and open spaces for the full tailgate experience.

6. Better dance floor

A whole frat can turn into the dance floor, whereas a bar has tables and other things going on. When people start dancing, the more space the better.

7. Drinking games

A good game of pong or flip cup can simply never take place in bar.

8. Late nights/no closing time

Frats have the ability to choose their start time and their closing time so the fun can go on forever.

9. Themes

Themed parties are always more exciting. Everyone only has so many jeans and tops to wear to bars but themes at frats are a chance to get better Instas, bond with group costumes, and pretend it is Halloween.
