Looking back at those years,

being glad they are over,

where I struggled with drama

rumors and gossip,

and not knowing who was a friend,

I do not regret them.

I am thankful.

I am stronger and wiser.

You taught me to not give up,

never a failure,

to move on to my next challenge,

to conquer

and persevere.

With speeches and thank-you's,

and constant preparation

I earned my greatest achievement,

voted by my peers,

class president.

A small class, but

Over 1,000 people,

everyone was there to listen.

I spoke about my past,

sad that this was over,

no details to spare.

While not always my favorite,

I thank you for your four years.
