Summer is the perfect time to let loose and spend some extra money on a music festival. Festivals are a fun way to see more than one of your favorite artists all in one weekend. They are packed with amazing performers back-to-back, and usually have more than one stage that performers play on so you have options of who you'd like to listen to. Most of the time, festivals even offer more than just music. Some offer entertainment like carnival rides, dancers, tons of food, and beaches to roam on while listening to live performances. These types of concerts are the most fun and enjoyable. Even though they may break the bank a little, they are so worth it.

Moonrise Festival- Baltimore, MD- August 6 and 7.

Moonrise is a huge festival with a plethora of different performers. There are so many huge names attending this year, such as: Yellowclaw, Tyler The Creator, Bassnectar, The Chainsmokers, and Zedd, just to name a few. This festival is huge this year, surely to attract many people from all over the country. The line up is stacked. This is a show worth spending your money on this summer.

Electric Zoo- New York, New York- Labor Day Weekend.

If you're looking for a good time this coming labor day weekend, be sure to get tickets now while they are cheap to Electric Zoo. This festival is right in the city, a plus because you can explore the Big Apple right after attending! Performers like Tiesto, Borgore, Hardwell, Cash Cash, and Steve Aoki will be gracing the stages at this huge festival. For Ezoo, there are four different stages with performers playing at all times. This is an awesome way to see not only huge names in the industry, but also check out some people you may never heard of and find some new favorite artists.

Bonnaroo- Manchester, TN- June 9 -12.

Even though Bonnaroo is all the way in Tennessee, this is a festival not to miss. This festival offers an on-site camping option for people who don't want to get a hotel. Imagine how fun that is! Camping on-site with all of your friends and a bunch of other music lovers like yourself! It doesn't stop there. There's even a option to RENT AN RV! Now that's fun! This year the line up includes: Pearl Jam, Dead & Company, J Cole, Ellie Goulding, Bryson Tiller, and hundreds of other amazing artists. The best thing about this festival is that there is something for everyone because this festival dabbles in all genres of music.

Beach Glow, Concerts for Charity- Wildwood, NJ- July 8 and 9.

According to Beachglow.org, "BeachGlow believes in the power of contemporary music to raise awareness among young adults about societal issues and causes." This festival is not only days of fun days on the beach soaking up the sun, but it's a music festival that also raises money for a great cause. This is a festival everyone should attend because it benefits others. Artists like Audien, Slander, and Nico & Vinz will be performing on the beach at this festival.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!
