It's almost that time of the year where you can be free from your job, parents and school work. If you haven't planned where you're going then you are already late. But maybe this could save you and help you narrow down some choices. So here's four Spring Break destinations you should look at.

1. Daytona Beach, FL

Daytona Beach has always been one of the hottest spots in Florida for spring break. For starters the beach has so much to offer during the day.There are rock climbing walls, beach volleyball and Frisbee tournaments. If you want to get in the water there's surfing, boogie boarding, jet skiing, parasailing and other activities that revolve around spending a great day at the beach. If you just want to take a joy ride Daytona also has motorcycles you can rent. If you're not pleased with that then Orlando is only forty-five minutes away with amusement parks like Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios.

2. South Padre Island, TX

Since this destination is in Texas, you should know it's the biggest spring break destination in Texas. This Island is located at the southern-most tip of Texas. The Coca-Cola Beach at the Isla Grand Beach Resort is probably one of the best resorts for spring break in the nation. There are Dance Contests and tons of giveaways that attract crowds between 12,000 and 18,000 spring breakers. This massive venue also hosts some very popular entertainment like concerts and dance parties. Definitely a place you should take a look into.

3. Lake Havasu, AZ

For the all the West Coast people out there who don't want to take the trip to Florida Lake Havasu, AZ is for you. With sunny days and cool nights, Lake Havasu is one of the top spring break destinations in the world. It also has two of the best bars for spring break in the nation: Kokomo and Martini Bay.

4. Panama City Beach, FL

PCB is the most commonly known spring break hotspot in America. PCB is in the panhandle of Florida and is easy to get to, not to mention it is 27 miles full of fun. This hotspot is also known for its night clubs are crazy beach bashes. The best thing about the night clubs is that you only have to be 18 just to get in. Go enjoy a week at the beach go hang out with Luke Bryan with his usual Spring Break Party every year and have a spring break to remember.

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.
