The upcoming Netflix series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, based on Lemony Snicket's book series by the same name, has yet to release a premiere date on the company's website, but production is clearly on the way. Despite Netflix not creating a lot of fanfare for the new series, the series refuses to stray too far from the spotlight. With three of the cast members announced, the anticipation is only growing.

The last big event in the series' production came last July when a YouTube user by the name of Eleanora Poe released what seemed to be the first teaser trailer for the show. Unfortunately, Netflix has since insisted that this trailer was fan made and they had nothing to do with it, but some fans question this. Considering the layers of mystery surrounding the novels, it's normal for fans of the series to question absolutely everything. After all, in the words of Violet Baudelaire, "there's always something."

The series follows the tragic story of the three Baudelaire orphans as they try to save themselves, and their fortune, from Count Olaf and an assortment of other greedy adults. The oldest, Violet Baudelaire, begins the story as a fourteen year old inventor and is to be played by Malina Weissman. She's played in a few other things, most notably the Supergirl series, but you may recognize her from the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

Lois Hynes has been cast as Klaus Baudelaire, the middle child and an avid reader. According to IMBD, this is his first notable role and considering this is the only picture I could find of him I don't doubt that. Normally this would worry me, but considering Daniel Handler, the man who insists he is not Lemony Snicket, is one of the executive producers I'm confident that he must be the best for the part.

Count Olaf, quite possibly the most heartless, cruel, and awful man in the world, will be played by none other than Neil Patrick Harris. If by some anomaly you're unfamiliar with his work, he is highly recognized for many things. He's played a variety of roles, from the womanizing Barney in How I Met Your Mother to the kid genius Doogie Houser. In his own words, "I'm excitidish to portray Count Olaf" which is about as excited as anyone can get about a tragedy involving the orphaning of three young children and the pursuing series of unfortunate events that make up their lives there after.

The first novel in the series, The Bad Beginning, was published in 1999 and was followed by twelve more books over the next seven years. The film adaptation in 2004 raised the hopes of fans and it looks like, after twelve years, we will finally get the full length tragedy we've been waiting for. Unfortunately, with no release date in sight, we may be in for quite the wait.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
