For a lot of people, crime shows gives them a thrill of adventure and curiosity, whether its in real life stories or fictional shows on TV. It keeps us at the edge of our seats sometimes to find out who committed the crime and see if you can decipher it before the characters in the show. In my own case, I love solving mysteries, intricate puzzles and riddles so these shows are a gold mine for me. Here are some shows that I fell in love with and want you to try out as well!!

1. "Criminal Minds"

This is the very first crime show I ever saw and I have to admit, this is where I fell in love! From the very beginning, Criminal Minds has kept me in its grasp with their intriguing story lines, well thought out plots, and it bases some of the episodes on real life crimes. The show follows a team of the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit and how they use psychology, science, and investigative skills to hunt down the world's most dangerous criminals. In order to catch them, the team puts themselves in the criminal's shoes and think like they would! It's easily one of the scariest, most cautioning show on TV that sometimes makes you question the sanity of everyday people around you! Plus, it has one of the greatest casts of all time!!

2. "Bones"

This show combines my favorite topics: learning about human anatomy and the FBI's crime solving skills! A seemingly dysfunctional partnership that's turned into an amazing love story is found in this show's leads between the awkward forensic anthropologist, Temperance Brennan and bad-ass FBI agent, Seeley Booth. Together, their teams solve murders based on…you guessed it…BONES!

3. "CSI: Miami"

CSI is a drama series that follows a Southern Florida team of experts that apply a mixture of new scientific techniques with old deductive reasoning skills to help solve crimes in their town. Horatio Caine, an expert at the job leads the team to solve and answer questions for the victims of these crimes!

4. "Law and Order: SVU"

It is THE longest running crime show on TV! Law and Order takes a deeper look into the crimes of the Special Victims Unit of the NYCPD. The show consists of a group of highly intelligent detectives that work together to sexual assaults, domestic violence and child abuse and harassment.

5. "The Blacklist"

How is it possible that one of the FBI's Most Wanted is going work alongside the FBI to bring down a hidden group of elite criminals from the Blacklist? In this show, Raymond Reddington, one of the most dangerous crime lords in the world turns into a CI for the FBI on one condition: he only wants to work with the newly minted FBI agent, Elizabeth Keen. From the very beginning, audiences were always curious as to what Raymond's obsession with Liz is and so, I hope this season can help answer some of these questions!

6. "White Collar"

This series is about a former con artist, Neal Caffrey, becomes an FBI consultant and CI to an FBI Special Agent to solve high end crimes in the New York Metropolitan area. The show offers great scenic views of multiple countries and has such an attractive cast member (*wink* Matt Bomer)!

7. "How To Get Away With Murder"

What happens when future criminal lawyers get involved in a murder? This power packed and chilling-to-the-bones series keeps all audiences on their toes as we all try to figure out who the killer is and work the story backwards from the murders. In this drama, Viola Davis is a larger than life criminal defense attorney that gives a kick ass performance in every single episode!

8. "Sherlock"

This version of the Sherlock Holmes classic takes a modern approach as the stories are told in the 21st century with Benedict Cumberbatch's flawless performance as he takes on the iconic character! His deductive reasoning skills and friendship with Dr. John Watson, portrayed by Martin Freeman, is the heart of the show!

In the end of all these shows, we really connect to the characters! Whether you connect to the darker side of you that you didn't know existed or if you really just like watching justice being served, these shows are a way to immerse yourself into another exhilarating ride!

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.
