For Those Stuggling: A List Of Songs

To those who are struggling right now:

Keep your head high. Everything will be alright.

Here are a couple of songs to listen to:

1. Invisible by Disciple

Honorary lyrics: “You're not invisible to me." Remember that you are never alone in your fight or struggle. You will always have someone to lean on or talk to; you just have to open your eyes a little more to see who they are.

2. Beautiful by P.O.D.

Honorary lyrics: “And hey, I know that you can find a way. You're beautiful to me, no matter what people say. It's all gonna be okay. You're beautiful to me.”

If you are ever feeling down and suicidal, please tell someone. You are a beautiful person.

3. Don't Stop Believin’ by Journey

Honorary lyrics: Well, everyone should know this song. It is a classic, and if you do not feel that emotional rush while singing it, you are doing something wrong.

4. Just Dance by Lady Gaga

Honorary lyrics: “Just dance, gonna be okay”. See, even Gaga knows that everything is going to be okay, and if it is not.. hey.. just dance!

5. Lean on Me by Billy Withers

Honorary lyrics: “Sometimes in our lives we all have pain, We all have sorrow, But if we are wise, We know that there's always tomorrow”. That is right. Everyone has pain. That pain may not be exactly what you are going through, but we all have pain. Do not forget that you will always have a “brother”.

Once again, always remember that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Somebody will always be one call or one text or even next door away. You just have to find that right person to be that somebody. I wish you the best of luck finding that person, because once you have found them then the troubles of the world do not seem that bad.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
