On the show "The Office," there are many personality types. Most are outrageous and silly but you love them all the same. There’s always a person in different friend groups that you can identify with. All the laughs and fun put into one television show.

The Funny One - Creed Bratton

Although every character on "The Office" is hilarious in their own way, Creed takes the cake, his witty one-liners always leave you dying and this friend does, too. Making jokes about anything they can and making sure everyone leaves with a smile on their face.

The One Who Thinks They’re the Funny One - Michael Scott

This person is always telling stories that no one understands and making everyone uncomfortable. They are the ones who make you laugh but not for what they think they do. It’s amazing to see them trying to make the perfect joke, but never really getting there.

The Hot Mess - Meredith Palmer

Everyone always has to tell Meredith what is OK or not okay according to social cues. She can never read a situation and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks of her. She always needs help with something without even knowing it. This friend is a mess, but a lovable mess. They are late most of the time and come barreling through with a hundred bags and no shoes. They’re the ones you love to take care of.

The Model Couple - Jim and Pam Halpert (Jam)

These two are the couple that everyone wants to be, and not because Jim Halpert is so cute, but because their love for each other is overwhelming and makes everyone jealous. They are the couple everyone hates, but also everyone wants to be.

The Couple that wants to be the Model Couple - Ryan Howard and Kelly Kapoor

This couple is a hot mess. They are constantly breaking up and getting back together. They do that so often that most of the time, you don’t even know if they are together. They always keep you on your toes and you love that. They are fun to be around, as long as they’re together.

The Spunky One - Angela Martin

This friend is never afraid to speak their mind and is always keeping everyone on their best behavior. You appreciate their honesty, but sometimes don’t know if you want their opinion. This is the friend that you’re glad you have, because if not, you would be afraid of them.

The Mom - Phyllis Vance

"The Mom" is always checking up on everyone and making them feel at home, even when they are far away. They are the one who will remind you of a project due in the class you are walking to and judge you the whole way there with the look of absolute disappointment.

The ‘Mini Me’s’- Plop and Dwight Jr

These are the ones who you swear there are doubles of in your group. They are just like someone else in your group and it’s almost creepy.

The group dynamic is like no other and will never really be matched. It’s hanging with the best of the best and sometimes acts like the worst of the worst.

P.S. “Squad,” this was for you!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
