The Story of Shappie and Sharpie

The moment he heard, “We can’t be together,” His stomach dropped. He couldn't believe that those words came out of gus angel's lovely lips. The thought of not being with her was a kind of death, in which he was forced to keep living.

The story of Shappie and Sharpie, with Sharpie as Shappie’s favorite chapter, which he re-reads night after night until his eyes are obscured red with tears and his heart relives the mesmerizing memories of shared time.

He still remembers the day he was moving overseas for school. They both had a clue how long distance relationships are. It was undoubtedly true that long distance relationships require vigorous affections, trust, love and a hell of lot of temperament. In short, they both knew it was impossible but they both signed up for this. A class of a romantic role model as we could say.

A couple of days before Shappie had his flight they both went on a date. The pinnacle perfect romantic movie almost did the job, but the thought of living miles apart from each other killed them deep inside.

They both had trouble continuing that long distance relationship. But Shappie promised that he won’t leave her alone. And Sharpie believed that he was worth every mile between them. Shappie got a little busy with his studies and Sharpie caught up with her university in her home country, Pakistan. But they stood strong on each others side.

After two years, Shappie could see the changes in Sharpie's way of talking, her priorities were changed. So he decided a surprise visit to meet Sharpie. They spent some little time together. Shappie could see the confined line Sharpie started to draw between them. He tried digging behind this matter but Sharpie kept on tackling the situation and always found a way out.

His love erupted louder than her demon. He made some mistakes and long distance did some damage in the relationship, yet no matter what, he never looked or poised to blame her better half on anything. He always said that, "Sharpie, I have hurt you a lot, I've made you cry, I have embarrassed you at times and even made you feel that I'm a bad guy. But remember one thing, that I have always loved you from the utmost vein bleeding through my heart. I've always loved you endlessly and there is never one girl I can even think about when you are in my mind, my thoughts and my heart".

Shappie always tried his best to keep his Sharpie happy. The guy who use to hate purple colour, adopted the same color as his favourite colour just because Sharpie loved everything purple.

Each day he had to fight with the two side of his heart even though it blended each other with blood. But it couldn't grow hatred for the word Sharpie in its soul.

Shappie's love to Sharpie is immune. It can never end. Even God cannot vanish it, not even a bit of it until his soul gets into His hands.

He still have saved a seat in his future, just in case she want’s to be the part of his journey again. It’s been 26 months since they haven’t talked like Sharpie and Shappie use to talk.

“I bet you will never remember what I will never forgot.” - Shappie.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
