Confession time: I loveto shop. Clothes are my drug of choice, my ultimate weakness. Yet, the struggle between my love affair with clothes and my current economic status (AKA a broke college kid) could not be more apparent come spring. But when a clothes addiction is as real as mine, I have found five stores that aren't too expensive for girls on a budget.
Pacsun.
It's all about the clearance section. Buy one get two, sometimes three free! It's the ultimate deal, and quite honestly, a great place to grab crop tops and shorts.
Brandy Melville.
My favorite store of all time. Their soft, comfortable clothing, is perfect for all occasions, not to mention affordable! Their accessories start at three dollars (yes, you read that right), and their tops are in the low teens. Not bad for a broke college girl!
Urban Outfitters.
OK, I know what you're thinking: Urban is not for a girl on a budget! It's all about timing my friends. I went to Urban Outfitters earlier this month and got three pairs of shorts for $15 (as in three pairs of shorts for five dollars each). They were left over from last season, but last time I checked no one cares. Also, a great thing about Urban is that they match their online prices in store. Meaning, if something is eight dollars online and twenty dollars in the store they'll match the price to eight! Sweet deal, am I right?
Hollister.
No, I am not in seventh grade. But I'm telling you, Hollister has seriously stepped up their game! Their styles are boho and trendy, and I got the cutest pair of boyfriend jeans for only $25, last week. Such a steal!
Zara.
Zara kills in the online clearance game (I can personally vouch for this as I am currently typing this piece in a cozy knit sweater from Zara that I got for only $12). Twenty dollars spent in Zara can equal pants, a sweater and a statement necklace. It's all about knowing where to look online!
