For All That Is Holy And Gilmore Girls!
Hollywood Reporter

Last month, I started watching "Gilmore Girls" on Netflix from the beginning. I never watched this show before. When it first came on, I was only five years old. I was 12 years old when it ended it's seventh season. So I wasn't really able to start watching this show back then, but now I wish I had. Or at least tried.

"Gilmore Girls"is about the journey through the lives of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, who live in Stars Hollow. Lorelai is a single mother who had Rory when she was 16 years old. Rory get accepted to Chilton, a private school for intelligent human beings. Because of Lorelai's status of being a single mother, she can't afford the tuition of Chilton. So she contacts her parents who she hasn't spoken to in a long time because of their differences. Them being rich and strict with their life style, Lorelai didn't fit in the life as a child so when she got pregnant, she ran away from it.

I won't go into much more detail. But the grandparents offer to pay for Chilton for Rory so she can have the best education that money can buy so she can later get into Harvard, her dream school, and become a journalist. This offer comes with the deal of Friday night dinners, where the girls have to come to dinner every Friday night with their grandparents.

Lorelai and Rory are two of the greatest characters I have ever seen. I can relate to them so much that I question my own biology of family relatives. I swear, I can claim Lorelai as my mother because I am so much like these two ladies. No offense to my own mother (haha).

Here are a few things I love about these Gilmore.

1. For the love of all that is coffee

2. Movies. Movies. Movies.

3. Funny, funny girl.

4. There is a lot of consuming of food.

5. I just love them!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
