As Kenny Chesney would say, the boys of fall are back as week one kicked off Thursday night with a rematch of last year's Super Bowl. The Denver Broncos just barely crept passed the Carolina Panthers for another win under their belts. With Payton Manning retired from the Broncos, it was time for Siemian to take his place. He threw one touchdown, but two interceptions. The panthers led throughout the whole game, but it wasn't until late in the fourth quarter where the Broncos bounced back with CJ Anderson taking it to the end zone on a screen pass making it 17-14.
To make the game more exciting Chris Harris Jr. makes a diving interception on a tipped pass which gave Denver full possession. This leads into CJ Anderson pushing the ball in for a 1-yard touchdown making the game 21-17. Carolina ended up gaining another 3 points from a field goal, but still came up short of the win. Denver will face off the Indianapolis Colts next Sunday. The rest of the teams kicked off mainly this past Sunday, but 4 teams went head to head for some Monday Night Football.

So what can we all expect during the 2016-2017 season? Well, one team, I think that is going to go far is the Kansas City Chiefs. Yes, I am from Kansas City but some reporters are predicting it as well. Last season they ended up 11-5 with winning their final 10 games during the regular season. I believe they will start their season with a 3-0 start with wins against the Chargers, Texans, and New York Jets. During week four it will be a tight game against the Steelers.
If the Chiefs win this huge game they could be set for the playoffs. Another large game will be Christmas night against the Denver Broncos at home. With the large and rowdy crowd, Kansas City natives bring this will be a win no doubt. My prediction is that the Chiefs will end their season 12-4. Will it come true? We will have to let the games begin to find out.

Another team that has a chance at winning their division, and making it far in the playoffs is the Pittsburg Steelers. They are defiantly in better position to take the AFC North than last year. One big matchup for the Steelers is gunna be the Dallas Cowboys which is a game they shouldn't lose, but it could be a possibility with the Cowboys new and improved team.
