It's ok to indulge yourself once in a while, and if you're just feeling a quick bout of sadness a candy bar won't ruin your life. Dark chocolate is known for improving mood and lowering the risk of heart disease! How great is that, it's like having your dark chocolate cake and eating it too!

2. Berries!

They're the yummiest little snack ever and hold different antioxidants that work to better your body! Little munches that help you get healthier yes, please. The best part is that they're portable so you can have them wherever and whenever. An old wives tale was that fish is a brain food, but it is also known for preventing and treating depression! So picture this, some rice and vegetables with a fat piece of salmon laying on top. I'm drooling just thinking about it, and the fact that it's Omega-3s can prevent depression is just icing on the cake.

7. Wine!

Can you legally drink? Are you in the comfort of your own home? Are you not an alcoholic? Do you like wine? Red wine can actually be a mood booster! Alcohol is classified as a depressant but red wine contains those great Omega-3s which can fight depression

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
