Food On Campus Of MSU Rated By Stars

A lot of students have trouble picking what to eat on campus or they want to eat the same thing every single day, and some students may order delivery because they are tired of Montclair State's food (that person would be me). I haven't eaten everywhere, but here are the restaurants and their ratings by stars.

1. Red Hawk Diner - 3.9 stars, almost 4 ****

I have gone here before plenty of times. They serve food like chicken tenders, fish & chips, rosemary chicken, spaghetti & meatballs, chicken & waffles. You can pay with cash, credit/debit, flex or redhawk. My opinion is that they do have good food; I tried a lot and their food is very tasty! I actually call their food 'real food' compared to other places on campus. And their milkshakes are really good.

2. Freeman Hall- 3.2 stars ***

I think this dining hall is much better then SAM's. Their food is a little limited, but it is tasty. I would recommend this one better, even if it is in Guam. They have good chicken and they make stir fry!

3. SAM's- 2.1 stars **

Honestly my true opinion, I think SAM's is gross. They need to actually have real meat and cooked food. I have eaten pasta before and was not cooked enough. I usually get pasta, cereal or a salad. Their omelettes aren't too bad. I just go there because it is unlimited, so no money. A lot of people have agreed with me. They could do better. Sorry.

4. Panda Express- 4 stars ****

Located in the Student Center Cafe, Panda Express is very tasty. I love their white rice & orange chicken, also their chicken & broccoli. Sometimes their orange chicken can be a tad hard to bite in, but that really happens barely. I go there a lot, more than I should, but oh well. The price is a little pricey; my meal ends up to be maybe $7 or $6.

5. Which Wich- 3.1 stars ***

Located in Blanton, Which Wich is good at times. I usually get a turkey sandwich or a buffalo chicken sandwich, which is a little spicy but good. Sometimes you really have to make your order clear because the workers sometime mess it up. It's also a little convenient store; it sells candy, ice cream, MILK, drinks, cereal, milkshakes, room essentials, etc. I go there a lot for ice cream.

6. Chili's- 2.9 stars **

Located in Blanton, Chili's is alright. You should go here if you like spicy food, since Chili's is known to have that, obviously. They have a very limited menu compared to the actual restaurants. They have good french fries and good Mex bowls. They should add more food.

7. Au Bon Pain (Cafe Diem) - 3.7 stars ***

Located in the library, Au Bon Pain is very good. They have good mac and cheese and mango smoothies! They serve breakfast and lunch foods like sandwiches, salads, etc. They also make soups and coffee items (lattes).

8. Dunkin' Donuts- 3.8 stars ***

Dunkin' Donuts is located in Blanton and the Student Center. Obviously, people love this place for coffee, donuts, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, etc. I gave it a 3.8 because in Blanton, they always run out of items a lot (Coolattas), and some employees can be rude. That's why I gave those stars. They need to be more supplied.

9. Rathskeller- 3 stars ***

Located in the Student Center, the Rathskeller serves pasta, pizza, and salads. I think there pizza is not bad, same with their pasta. They do a good job. You sometimes have to wait for your food depending on what you get. I gave this 3 stars because I only have been there twice, and my experience was good.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
