You never know when your last day will be, your last memory, your last shower, your last conversation. Live life to its fullest. Document your life. Look back on your favorite moments when you feel like you can't go any longer.
It will help tremendously.
I find myself looking at old photos and videos quite often. At one point, I asked myself, "Am I dwelling on the past? Am I moving forward while going backward at the same time?"
No, I am not doing either of those. I am simply reminiscing.
People may say to live in the moment and put your phone down, but they are wrong. Pick your phone up. Take photos of every inch of your current presence. Jot down a few notes of that memory. What did it smell like? What did you hear at that moment?
You will be surprised at how useful these notes and photos will be later in life. Show your future husband and your kids all the crazy times you had when you were young. It's a shame our parents didn't have that type of technology when they were kids.
Looking at old memories encourages me to create more. It reminds me that you never know when your last day will be. Fill your 24-hour days with meaningful fun. Do it so you can look back on it and smile.
The end of the semester is here. Rewind to summer 2018 for a few minutes. Think about all the good and bad times you had. What would you do differently? What would you do again? Make summer 2019 your best one yet.
Family memories are the ones that will stick with you forever. Look through your baby photo album once in a while with your family. They will tell you stories about yourself that you didn't even know. Search for photos of your ancestors and extended family.
When you feel like you can't make it anymore, look through your photos. There will be photos of your friends, yourself, your family, your pets, anything, and everything. Reflect on the good and the bad.
