When it comes to birthdays, it's important to make the day extra special for our loved ones. I always strive to outdo my birthday gift from the previous year. And what better way to show someone you care than with a bouquet of flowers, right? But, have you heard about the latest trend in flower gifting? Flower jars! They're a unique twist on the classic bouquet and are sure to surprise and delight your recipient. Here are a few reasons why you should think about giving a flower jar instead of a bouquet:

Longevity

Say goodbye to those boring old flower bouquets that wilt away after a couple of days! Flower jars are the new hotness in town, and they're here to stay (well, for several weeks or even months that is!) Not only are they super cute and stylish, but with a little TLC, they'll keep spreading love and joy long after the birthday celebrations have ended. It's the perfect way to show your special someone that you're still thinking of them with a bouquet that lasts and lasts!

Unique and Creative

Flower jars are the trendy new way to gift flowers and add a dash of “you” to the traditional bouquet! It's like having a blank canvas to let your creativity bloom. Pick their favorite colors, choose petals that match their personality, and voila! You've got a gift that's not just a bunch of flowers, but a bunch of love, thoughtfulness, and quirkiness in a jar.

Multi-functional

Flower jars are like the Swiss Army Knife of gifts! Not only do they brighten up any room with fresh flowers, but they can also hold a cozy candle, or even become a mini-terrarium! They're like the gift that keeps on giving, as the recipient can use it in multiple ways. So, if you're looking for something pretty AND practical, a flower jar is the way to go!

Easy Maintenance

Say goodbye to the hassle of high-maintenance bouquets and hello to the low-key, long-lasting love of flower jars! These pretty petal-filled containers are the perfect pick for those who want to bask in blooms without constantly having to fuss and rearrange. A quick splash of water now and then is all it takes to keep these beauties in bloom for ages!

Affordable

Who needs expensive bouquets when you can have fabulously arranged flower jars?! They're the perfect way to add some stylish flair to your home or gift flowers to a friend, all without breaking the bank. No need to choose between style and affordability, flower jars have got you covered!

So, to wrap it up - it's time to say goodbye to boring bouquets and hello to fabulous flower jars for birthday gifting! These jars packed with petals are the perfect blend of personalization and creativity. It's like giving a ray of sunshine that lasts longer and brings a smile to the birthday gal or guy's face. Trust us, flower jars are a total birthday bash win-win situation!

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant

There's always chaos in the restaurant business.

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant
Brisanis

Working in the restaurant industry is possibly the most fundamentally challenging occupation I have ever experienced when it comes to hospitality and customer service. When you go to a five-star restaurant you expect the time of your life, a two hour getaway, a walk through another time period (rustic Italy, France, Spain, etc), or simply a honeymoon undergo. What you don't see are the behind the scenes scut work: carrying trays, polishing glassware and silverware, kitchen chaos, the list is endless. Now, I'm not saying being a host, server, or bartender is the worst thing in the whole wide world, there are definitely worse things. But the fact of the matter is that it isn't always sunshine and rainbows. In the two years that I have spent in restaurant and customer service, I have spoken my share of expletives, yelled at kitchen staff, and dealt with not-so-happy guests. It isn't easy to keep a bright and shiny smile on your face when all you want to do is choke every person who walks near you. Anyone who has spent even two weeks working in a restaurant understands the rigor and stress that comes with it. Restaurant culture is a tiny world in and of itself that operates on its own principles and creates its own society. It even has its own language. The sayings "runner", "corner", and "on a bus" wouldn't make sense to anyone otherwise. My mother and I both work in a restaurant and the best advice I can give someone going out to eat is to treat us like people. Yes...believe it or not we are people, people. Say "please" and "thank you", or stack your cleared plates before a busser gets to the table. Trust me, the gesture goes a lot farther than you may think.

So, if you work in a restaurant, you can relate with the following points. If not, check out how the brain of a restaurant service (or any customer service) worker actually works. See if you can identify any crazy weird habits your friends have a tendency to partake in.

One of the scariest things we will ever face in our life is going to college. Many of us move away to a new town, join new organizations, and make new friends. If you are in high school, here are some things that you can learn from before you get to college. If you have already been through your freshman year of college, hopefully you can relate to the things I have learned in college.
