One reason why Fall is the best season, is all the new TV shows that premiere as well as the old ones that are so good. This fall there is a lot of new ones coming and some really good OG tv shows, that are good as well. Below are in my opinion, the top 5 to be on the lookout for. The shows start back between this week and next week, so it's an exciting time.

1. Notorious:

Notorious is premiering on September 22nd on ABC. I'am so excited for this one. It is starring Piper Perabo who is such a great actress (think Because I Said So or Coyote Ugly). The show is about how media and law come together. Pipers character is a producer for a show and she works close with a criminal defense attorney. Their relationship is what the show is based on.

2. Bull:

Bull is premiering on September 20th on CBS. All NCIS fans will be happy, as I was being a fellow fan. Bull is starring Michael Weatherly, who departed from NCIS to do this show. He played Agent DiNozzo on NCIS and was personally my favorite character on the show. I was glad to here he was leaving the show to play the main character on Bull. His character now is a Doctor who owns a trial consulting firm. The show seems like it will be great, so make sure to check it out!

3. Scandal:

My favorite TV show is Scandal. It will not be returning until mid-season so that is October or November. I'm sad to have to wait but I'll have plenty of new shows to keep me occupied. If you have not seen Scandal you have to get caught up on Netflix. It is an amazing show starring Kerry Washington who plays Olivia Pope. Olivia Pope owns a Crisis Management Firm and so much more. I'm telling you, you will want to watch this show.

4. Scream Queens:

Scream Queens is premiering on September 20th on Fox. I normally do not do scary movies or tv shows. I'm honestly such a wimp when it comes to those things. But Scream Queens is just so good and the Chanel's have such great fashion, that I made an exception. It stars so many great actresses and actors, with a scary setting that has a funny tone to it. I really suggest watching it, but be aware it is a little spooky.

5. The Goldbergs:

The Goldbergs is premiering on September 21st on ABC. The Goldbergs is the show I look forward to watching the most. It is in my opinion, the closest we have to an iconic 70s or 80s tv show you hear everyone talk about. I really don't think this show gets enough credit. It is hilarious, the fashion is awesome, and the script is so good. The actors and actresses do such a great job. The show just puts you in a good mood. It is based on a real persons family from the 80s and each episode has a theme from the 80s, with music to follow, and the person who the show is based about home movies, following the episode. If you have not seen this show, go and watch it, you will not be disappointed.

That concludes my Fall tv show favorites. Leave a comment down below of what your favorite tv show is and why you like it so much. Can't wait to sit down with my popcorn and watch all of these shows. Here's to TV season (aka Fall), the best season ever, am I right?

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
