How to get the most out of your day:

1. Get a good night's rest.

We all complained during the semester how we weren't getting any sleep, so now that it's summer it's time to take advantage of that! Try going to sleep before midnight and allow yourself to rest.

2. Set an alarm.

Get a good night's rest, but don't allow yourself to sleep in until noon. The point is to take advantage of the day you are given, so don't waste it sleeping!

3. Write a to-do list.

As lame as it sounds, writing to-do lists once you wake up are a great way to get your day started. You can organize your thoughts and prioritize what needs to be done in the day.

4. Eat breakfast.

You got up early so you can treat yourself to a nice breakfast. If you're just not a breakfast person, maybe a cup of coffee, tea, or juice to start your day will suffice.

5. Attack your to-do list.

You've been well rested, figured out what you needed to do today, and ate breakfast, now it's time to complete your to-do list. Whether or not you had a million errands or none, you have the time to go do the things you need to do or sit and relax.

The major key to being productive and getting the most out of your day is really to get up early. I know a lot of us students don't jump at the opportunity to wake up early, but trust me, it feels amazing once you're up and have time to spare, rather than always being in a rush and pressed for time. It's summertime, and we should take advantage of every day given to us. Make this summer your best one yet!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
