Five Tips on How to Avoid Procrastination
Memestorage.com

Procrastination is a habit that many people have. I myself struggle to avoid procrastination despite how many times I am told about the importance of time management. If like me, you want to avoid procrastination, here are five tips that you can use to become better at being more timely.

1.Use a whiteboard or an agenda to write down everything you have to complete during the week.

I find doing this to be useful since I am occasionally forgetful when it comes to tasks that I must finish. Having something in front of me whether it be on paper or on a whiteboard serves as a reminder that I have work to do and provides me more motivation to finish my work. It also helps me to cross out or check off work that I complete.

2.If using a whiteboard or an agenda is not something you see yourself doing, try Wunderlist.

“What is Wunderlist?” you might ask. Wunderlist is a free application that you can download on your Android or Apple device. You can create folders to organize your tasks, set reminders to keep you on track, and make notes for each task. Then, when you are done, you check off your task. It is a simple tool and effective tool that you can utilize to become more organized.

3.Talk to friends about what you have to do during the week.

I am sure that there are a million other subjects you would rather discuss than what work you must finish. However, when you talk to people about what you need to get done, you have people who can remind you about what you need to do. As a result, you will be less likely to forget what you must do during the week.

4.Make a schedule for each day and determine how much you want to accomplish each day.

This might seem similar to the first tip, but it is different. That is because this tip in particular makes the suggestion that you should take your week one day at a time. Besides, it is easy to become overwhelmed when you thing about everything you must complete this week instead of thinking about what want to accomplish one day at a time.

5.Treat yourself when you finish your tasks.

In order to give yourself some extra motivation to complete your tasks, think of something fun that you enjoy that you want to do at the end of the week. That way, you have a reason to get your work done for the week. Whether it is getting coffee from Starbucks, going out with your friends, or playing some games with your friends, you will be able to enjoy what you are doing more since you have less to worry about during the weekend.

So those are five tips that you can use to avoid procrastination. I hope that they will help you become more productive. Besides, who does not like the feeling of getting a lot done? It means you can relax more afterwards!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
