1. The word "wicked."
If you're from any part of New England, chances are "wicked" is an important part of your daily vocabulary, and you'll probably be met with confused looks if you say it anywhere outside of the greater Boston area. Regardless, you know that "wicked" is the best adjective in the dictionary and you'll never stop saying it, even if it does confuse flatlanders.
2. The fact that it's not really cold out until it dips into the negatives.

Last time you checked, it wasn't cold until the temperature dipped below zero: back home, this weather would be warm enough for you to break out the shorts.
3. Dunkin' Donuts is and will always be better than Starbucks.
It doesn't get better than Dunkins iced coffee. This is not up for debate.
4. The Sox are and will always be better than the Yankees.
Once again, not up for debate.
5. There really is no place like home.
No matter how much you complain about the ungodly amount of snow you get in the winter, there truly is nowhere better than New England.
