5 Things I Never Travel Without

I would never want to travel without these things.

I always take these five things on a trip with me no matter where I am traveling because it does not matter the destination for these things. Of course, if you are traveling somewhere cold, you would pack completely different articles of clothing than if you were going to the beach. But these ten things never change.

1. A Good Book

The world underestimates the power of a good book. I love being lost in another world when I read. Books always seem to pass the time relatively quickly while I am traveling.

2. Picture Taking Device

I frequently joke that my love language is, pictures. I know this could not be true because it is not one of the five. I love being able to capture amazing memories with pictures. Candid photos are my absolute favorite because I like being able to see the emotions that a person was feeling at that exact moment.

3. My Stitch Stuffed Animal

So I am probably going to get made fun of for this one. I am a cuddle sleeper and I could not imagine not having this to cuddle with.

4. My Headphones

Music is my absolute best friend. I do not know what I would do without being able to listen to music. My love of music does not just disappear when I am on a trip. I always have my headphones in order to listen to my favorite songs.

5. My Phone

Okay sure, I bet everyone is thinking that this is an obvious answer, but I want to be able to share my wonderful experiences with my friends and family.

I love traveling. I love the new experiences and the new people I meet while I am on the trip. I want to travel the world and I would not do it without these five things.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
