College is truly a unique experience. Many look back on college as the best years of their life. Would you agree?

1. Saturday's

Pre-gaming and day drinking with 60,000 of your closest friends is something that you may not remember but you'll surely never forget. WVU gamedays are the best days and bring the whole state together.

2. 8 a.m. classes

No one wants to be anywhere but their bed at 8 am. But waking up and getting to class on time prepares you for the demands of the real world. Going through the 8 am struggle bonds you with your classmates, who are just as tired as you are.

3. PRT Reliability

Every WVU student has felt the disappointment of being stuck on the PRT for at least 30 minutes. The PRT quickly turns into a sauna and a great place to make friends with people who are just as stressed out as you are.

4. WVU's Annual Home Kansas Victory

Every January the blue bloods from Kansas come to Morgantown and take an L at the hands of the Mountaineers. The ensuing court storm lives as one of the greatest moments in WVU's history and is ranked as one of the top court storms of the past decade.

5. Fall Fest

Considering the stage is off to the right in this photograph you can only imagine how these massive concerts bring everyone together. Fall Fest is the best concert of the year.

But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
