It's been Fall for a while now, but it never truly hits me until the time change happens. It gets darker earlier and a little cooler. That's when it truly feels like Fall. It's a good time to drive around and look at everything dying and listen to some songs that really bring on the feels. But, afterthe time change, there are two types of people: those who love it and those who hate it. Whether you love it and are looking to embrace the change, or you're looking for something to help you cope with it, here are some songs perfect for this time of year.

1. Repine - Pianos Become The Teeth

If you're grieving over the death of warm weather and abundant sunshine this one's for you. The definition of the word repine is to feel or express discontent. The basis of this song ties into a bigger theme that Pianos Become The Teeth have used in other albums; grief. Repine is about succumbing to that grief and accepting it. Letting it out. Let out your discontent for the colder, darker season. If you're feeling it, then let the somber, sweet sound of this song be the background music for the season.

2. Millstone - Brand New

How could I write a list on feelsy music and not include Brand New? In case you we're wondering, I can't. This is my go-to band for Fall and Millstone will always be one of my go-to songs. The gist of this one is about change and how the narrator isn't dealing well with it. (Could this be a more perfect message? Nope, it could not)

3. The Last Lost Continent - La Dispute

This is the time of year where many feel depressed. The darker days and cooler temperatures just seem to bring people down. The overall message of the song is defiant, making this song is perfect to remind you that no matter how dark it may be that you are not alone in it. There are others in the same state as you.

4. Broadripple Is Burning - Margot and the Nuclear So and So's

There's nothing quite as great as a song about a relationship ending to sing along to while the leaves and grass die. This folksy piece complete with a sad harmonica is sure to make you feel some kind of way.

5. Hot Knives - Bright Eyes

This season is a time for change and in Hot Knives change is everything. The song is about a woman who finds out that she just can't live with how her life is going, so she seeks out a change and transforms her life, like how you should turn that sadness you have regarding the change of the season into something better.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

CSU

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
