As May approaches, we're treated with more and more nice days. From parking lot sports to driving with the windows down; here's five ways to help kickstart your countdown to summer.

1. Parking Lot Sports

On nicer days, my colleagues have a pick up volleyball games in the parking lot during lunch break. It's a great way to enjoy the nice weather and get to know my colleagues better.

2. Barbecues

Burgers, games, cold beverages and sometimes even a dip in the pool! It doesn't get much better than that. I love enjoying the warm weather with friends and family at a nice outdoor barbecue.

3. Beaches and Boardwalks

Whether you love going to the beach during the day to soak up the sun or if an evening boardwalk adventure is more your thing, there's something for everyone. In late spring, the boardwalks start to open. Everyone starts to gear up for a season of fun, food, games and lots of great memories.

4. Shorts and Tanks

I'm usually the one always wearing a sweater or a sweatshirt. It's always nice treat to break out the shorts and tank tops.

5. Getting Tan or Sunburnt

During high school and college, I had a summer job that kept me outside much of the time. I always looked forward to seeing how tan I would be at the end of the summer. Unfortunately, nowadays, if I spend too much time outside, I skip tan and go straight to burnt.

I ask for the bathroom and a friend of my tinder date shows me to it and said in all seriousness that I was not allowed to flush the toilet under ANY circumstances. Having a few drinks--or five--I relieved myself to, nevertheless, flush the toilet. Within seconds, his bathroom was flooded and towels were laid out everywhere to catch the toilet water. To say the least, we were not invited back"

Greek Life

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.
