Here are a few of many place I love to eat at in Colorado!

1. The Buckhorn Exchange: Denver

If you like history and mouthwatering meals, The Buckhorn Exchange is the place for you. A two century resident of Denver, Colorado's oldest neighborhood and home of Colorado's very first issued liquor license, this historic treasure takes anyone back to the Wild West with its live entertainment, authentic atmosphere, and not to mention, the incredible menu. Now this is a place where you save up to go, but do not worry, the entire experience is completely worth the price.

Nothing I ate at the Buckhorn disappointed. Grilled duck breast rubbed with lavender and pepper, served with a raspberry, red zinfandel sauce— Fried artichoke hearts served with Red Chile Hollandaise... That wan't event the main course though. Blackend buffalo prime rib and buttery mash potatoes with the skins filed me up, but I had to eat every bit of it.

2. The Dream Cafe: Grand Junction

Located in Grand Junction, Colorado this is the breakfast joint to be.

Not that I wouldn't love to write 500 words on why I love Dream Cafe...click here is the link to the article I wrote about this Cloud Nine Diner.

3. White Fence Farm: Lakewood

According to WFF, the westword called it the “Best Fried Chicken” and I second that statement.

Enjoy endless amounts of comfort food like sweet beats an pickled four bean salad, cottage cheese, corn fritters, mashed potatoes and your choice of meat... I recommend the fried chicken, no doubt.

After you have filled your stomach and unbuttoned your jeans... you can walk off all the food by taking a stroll around WFF and experience the beautiful landscaping and colonial-style buildings.

4. Beau Jo's Pizza: Idaho Springs

Every now and then, I make a trip passing through Clear Creek County not only to enjoy the beautiful town and hike up Mt. Evans, but to stop for some good ol' Mountain Pie at the original Beau Jo’s in Idaho Springs, Colorado.

Have you ever heard of saving your crust for desert? This place has. At every table you will find a bottle of honey—this is where your leftover crust comes into play. Dip away!

5.The Wapiti: Estes Park

After a long day of venturing the Rocky Mountain National Park, wind down and dine at a local hidden gem — The Wapiti Pub in Estes Park, Colorado.

Not only does The Wapiti take pride in using as many local and fresh ingredients as they can, but they are also notable for the largest, all-Colorado beer list in the state.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food is what you receive when eating at The Wapiti.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
