5 Reasons To Love The Snow
We Know Your Dreams

As a lot of the country is experiencing the first snow, some of the country isn't experiencing any. Some have been dealing with the snow. The holidays are growing near, and regardless of how we feel with the snow, come January or February... most likely we feel like:

Still, we cannot help but take tons of pictures and stare at the beauty that surrounds.

Here are five reasons to love the snow:

1. It makes winter better. Why deal with the winter without having the snow? It is fun and it is beautiful.

2. It means that bugs and spiders are definitely gone. I mean you find a few creepers here and there but for the most part... you can look at whatever is left on the trees without worrying about wasps, widows, or whatever other type of spiders you usually see on the windows hanging.

3. Snow against the lights around town is truly breathtaking... it comes with a crisp air the human lungs just need. Whether it is too cold or not, sometimes you got to have it.

4. The way it falls drifts perfectly with our moods. The snow sometimes has a nice pattern in which it comes down, and sometimes the snow falls all mixed up in different directions. The escalating mood matches our days.

5. Snow activities. Whether you sled, make snow angles or do nothing — it is still fun to watch other people partake in these activities. The snow is fun! Enjoy it while it lasts because chances are, you may be in a place that gets less snow a year than most of us.

Every time I watch the first snow fall around the holidays, I realize, for me, it is a part of the holidays. Every time to you watch it come down, it is like seeing it for the first time again. Whether you are in a city, a farm or a log cabin, the beauty is worth every minute of the cold. All opinions differ, though, don't they?

If it will snow anyway, endure it. No matter how many pairs of pants or shoes it ruins!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
