5 Reasons Why I Love Pomeranians
Savannah King

When I was a little girl I begged and begged my parents for a puppy. After years of nagging, they finally broke down and allowed me to get a dog for my 13th birthday. But I didn't want just any dog; I wanted a Pomeranian. I have no idea what it was about Pomeranians that made me want one so bad at the time. Maybe it was the fact that they reminded me of myself, or just the way they looked. Either way, I quickly found out that there are so many reasons to love Pomeranians.

1. They have a spunky attitude.

Poms definitely have an attitude that is one-of-a-kind. They are always on the go, and they have this certain flare about them that makes them fun to have as a best friend. You never know what they are going to do next, and they love to be the center of attention.

2. Poms are very protective.

My Pom doubles as a watch dog, and we always know when something's in the yard or when someone's at the door. It can get annoying at times, but I feel much safer knowing that he's looking out for my family and I.

3. They are loving.

My Pom rarely leaves my side, and he reads people's emotions really well. If someone is sad or not feeling well, he is always there to comfort them and make them feel better.

4. Their size is convenient.

Since Pomeranians are relatively small in size, it makes it easy to take them with you. Whether it's in the front of the shopping cart or in your bag, they can easily tag along.

5. They have a long lifespan.

I cannot imagine my life without my little Pom, which makes me happy to know that they have a lifespan of about 12-16 years.

A lot of people shy away from Pomeranians because they think of them as small yippee dogs, but there is so much more to love about them. Their personality alone can change your mood, and all their qualities make them the perfect furry friend.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.
